Omni Present in UK Channel
Vendor signs first Preferred Partner to increase presence in UK

Canadian software vendor Omni has bolstered its presence in the UK with the appointment of Blueloop as its Preferred UK Partner.
Omni's portfolio includes management, security, mobility, messaging and Linux software products designed for enterprise network users of Novell, GroupWise, SUSE Linux and mixed Novell and Microsoft networks.
Rick Newcombe, Director of Sales at Omni, told CRN: "Omni's products have been available in the UK for a few years, mainly though our website, but in Blueloop we have found a local, well-trained and independent organisation that can serve our UK customers. We are confident that this partnership will increase the profile and level of customer satisfaction of Omni products in the UK."
Southwest-based Blueloop will sell Omni's eControl and Omni Mobile products.
Robin Barker, a Director at Blueloop, said: "Blueloop hopes to establish Omni in the UK. Although we are not strictly an Omni Authorised Distributor we are hoping to provide much of the support that customers and other resellers would need and expect."
