RealOpen IT appointed preferred Dutch partner by Omni
Leading Novell solutions developer steps up presence in Dutch market through RealOpen IT
DELFT, Netherlands – January 18, 2006 – RealOpen IT, provider of open-source automation solutions, announced today its preferred partner status with Omni Technology Solutions (Omni). Since 1999, Canadian-based Omni has developed a portfolio of mobility, management, security, messaging and Linux desktop solutions for enterprise users of Novell GroupWise, eDirectory, NetWare, Novell Linux Desktop and Microsoft networks.
As of January 2006, preferred Dutch partner, RealOpen IT, will introduce Omni's product portfolio to its enterprise customers. Organisations seeking a real and immediate return on their Novell Technology investments will now have wider access to Omni solutions through RealOpen IT. Omni’s solutions include: eControl 2.0, a web-based, "ZERO Rights" user account management tool for Novell, Microsoft and complex, mixed Novell and Microsoft networks; EMU, a bulk user management utility; GroupWise Mobility Suite, a native GroupWise client for leading PDAs, PDA Smartphones and Java cell phones and the world’s first Novell Messenger client for PocketPC devices; CCUweb, a solution that allows organizations to share multiple GroupWise calendars on the web; and Desktop Multiplier, a Novell Linux Desktop solution that allows organizations to deploy Linux desktops at a fraction of the cost; and a host of GroupWise “pain relief” utilities. Each solution relieves GroupWise customer “pain” and delivers a significant return on their existing investment.
