eControl Extensions Allow SaaS Partners to Provide Streamlined and Simplified Account Management Across Multi-System Environments – Now Includes Support for SAP
Line-of-business, ERP, CRM and SaaS integrators and consulting partners can now offer web-based, unified, simplified account management, provisioning and user self-service to their customers resulting in service improvements and important cost reductions.

(www.omni-ts.com), recognized leaders in providing simplified, unified account management, today announced at CEBIT that Omni’s eControl console now includes open standards "Extensions" that allow third-party applications to be seamlessly integrated into eControl’s web-based, unified management portal. This enhancement will benefit partners and customers looking to provide simplified and unified management, provisioning and delegation of routine tasks across multiple systems in large or complex environments.
eControl was originally designed to provide a web-based alternative to traditional engineer-focused management applications for Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange, Novell eDirectory and GroupWise and OpenLDAP systems. eControl allows companies to replace Microsoft Management Console, TaskPads, Novell ConsoleOne, iManager and other complex native administration interfaces. It allows role-based delegation of simplified account management and provisioning across multiple systems to non-technical users, such as help desk personnel and human resource staff – from a single browser. In addition to offering faster, simpler and seamless management of routine tasks, eControl provides full auditing and reporting across the multiple systems – an important value-add and critical component of any compliance initiative.
