Linux Desktop Multiplier Powers Linux Internet Café at BrainStormer UK Event

BrainStormer UK Internet Café

The BrainStormer UK Internet café, sponsored by Blueloop, HP and Omni, provided an opportunity for BrainStormer attendees to experience SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 and Omni's Linux Desktop Multiplier.

The system just rocked! We powered 12 independent "desktops" – consisting of only a monitor, keyboard and mouse – on two HP P4 3.0 Ghz computers with 4 GB of RAM each. A "Multiplied" SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop system 10 outperforms thin clients and Blade servers at a fraction of the cost.
