Order Process


Below is the process for placing an order for your customers:

  1. Price Quote:  Please email Licensing if you would like a price quote for your customer. Include your customer's name, the product name and the number of licences in your email.

  2. Customer Profile:  Please fill out a Customer Profile for each new order. If the order is for support renewal, please include your customer's name in the email.

  3. Licensing Requirements:  The licensing requirements vary for each product. Review the licensing requirements below for the product you wish to purchase and email the requested information to Licensing along with your Customer Profile.

  4. Payment Options:  Licence files and authentication keys will be sent once payment has been received. We will also send you an invoice by email for your records. We accept payment by:

    1. VISA or MasterCard – Call +1 780-423-4200 or fax +1 780-423-4711 with your
      credit card number and expiration date.
    2. Purchase Order – This option is available within North America ONLY.
    3. Cheque – Send your cheque to Omni, 1200 Bell Tower, 10104 - 103 Avenue,
      Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 0H8, CANADA.
    4. Bank Transfer – Transfer the funds to our bank account.  Use our Contact Us link to request details.

    Licensing Requirements (by product)


    Management Products
    1. eControl:   Please review the System Requirements page and contact us to schedule an installation.
    2. Enterprise Management Utility (EMU):  We need your NDS Tree name.
    Messaging Products
    1. Riva Managed Policies and Applications:  We need to receive the licence request file that is created after you complete the Licence Request Wizard.
    2. Create Web Calendar Utility (CCUweb):  We need the organization name as it will appear on the calendars.
    3. GWmerge:  We need the email address to be licensed.
    Linux Desktop Software
    1. Userful Multiplier:  Please send us your system's MAC address and the number of monitors that will be connected to the computer. Below are instructions on how to find your MAC address.

      1. SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED 10): To find your MAC address in Novell Linux Desktop, you need to log in as the "root" user. Then go to Programs > Accessories > Terminal. When the Terminal window pops up, type "ifconfig". In the first line you should see "HWaddr" and a string of 12 numbers separated by colons (e.g., 00:0B:CD:55:63:C9). This is your MAC address. Please send it to us to licence Userful Multiplier.
